CSWIP - TOFD (TD PocketScan) Level 2 - C260
This course is designed for experienced ultrasonic NDT technicians looking to expand their knowledge and gain a qualification in Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD). The course meets or exceeds the training syllabus requirements of EN ISO 9712. Students will learn TOFD theory and principles of diffraction, hardware (pulsers, receivers, motor control, and encoders), data acquisition and interpretation, TOFD techniques and applications, equipment selection, calibration and optimization, flaw location and sizing, limitations of detection and resolution, codes and standards, and reporting. This course ends with a CSWIP certification examination. Successful graduates will be awarded a globally-recognized CSWIP certificate in TOFD providing them with the accreditation for advanced NDT work.
